God Bless You LifeChurch Family,

I hope you have been encouraged and challenged the past several weeks as we have been studying the Book of Revelation. Paul says this in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, “16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.”  Emphasis on “encourage one another”. The idea of the Lord’s return and the last days should not bring fear but encouragement, that soon we will be in the very presence of God.

This Sunday our study will come from Revelation 13:1-4. Who is the Antichrist and what will his role be in the last days? Some say the Antichrist will arise from being a pope or a high-ranking political leader. Some say he will come out of a revived Roman empire. Let us consider what the Bible has to say about this beast, for it tells much, including who he is and his name. We will allow the Bible to speak the truth.
